The theme of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) conference was “The Campus of the Future: A Meeting of the Minds”. The conference was laid out like a college campus with central squares. Thirty directional signs were posted along the streets of the conference. A logo was created for each street and event. Fun college themes were also mixed in such as: “School Spirit”, “Toga Crossing” and “Mascot Crossing”.  Because the conference took place in Hawaii signage for “Danger! Falling Coconuts” and “Sandy Beach” were also incorporated.
